I am wiring 30 blue 5 mm LEDs all over my car, I have purchased the LEDs, holders, round switch and wire, is there anything else I need like a resistor? How do i go about wiring everything? And is it a bad idea to go to the battery or should i go to some other power source in the car?

im going to wire them all in series, i dont think i need a resistor actually, and what kind of fuse should i use, i have a. 8 gauge wire running to a fuse kicker fuse block that i had from my previous audio system, would i be able to just run a wire out of that to a switch and then to each individual light?

Do you have 8 gauge wire going from to switch to the fuse? If not (which I'm betting it's not as 8 gauge wire is going to be tough to attach to a LED switch if you bought it here), then you need to fuse for the smallest wire in the circuit (smallest wire = largest AWG number). |
