a 12 volt cordless drill battery works great and is rechargeable ...
2 6volt lantern batteries in series will also do it but are pricey to replace ... Oz sells a 12 volt AA battery holder but doubt it'd run very long/// |

http://www.oznium.com/12v-led-battery-holder http://www.oznium.com/super-alkaline-battery Also, why not use LEDS!? They draw much less power, are much more durable, and will last much longer ;) Something like this is perfect: http://www.oznium.com/led-ribbon |

I'm with BadVenge.. I'd look for a rechargeable battery.. a cordless drill or an RC car or something, so that way you don't have to worry about your money trickling away as you glow your bike at night.
