Hi guys I had a question about these driving lights. I'm looking to get some and install them on my TC. How can I make it so that they are on all the time and not on when the car is off? What fuse should I tap into? I'd like to have them on throughout the day and night and off when the car is off. Thanks

if u just directly connect it to the battery they will stay on at all times but itll cause a draw on ur battery

if u want to tap into a fuse just find a fuse that always has a current running through it but the say will happen to your battery i dont know how much draw it will have on your battery i dont recommend it unless you know ur battery can handle that

All you need to do is hit an acessory circuit IE Radio fuse , HVAC, defroster are all good... When the keys on the lights are on key off they'd be off as well

^^Yep and please use a relay, hopefully your driving lights came with one. icon_smile.gif
Whoops, never mind I just noticed you're using l.e.d.s so a relay is really not needed.

Not happy at all didn't buy my lights from oznium bought them from 5 star computers and went to install the ones I got and 1 broke off from the connector, and the passenger side has 3 lights in one section out! Has anybody have this problem before?icon_mad.gif i did just place an order for a set from oznium the side view headlight led strip. Once again i'm looking to light my scion tc, is a foot good? Any feedback apprecietated, this is my last attempt. icon_mad.gif

I dunno man, I forgot what size I used on my tC, but I'd suggest just taking a tape measue and seeing if a foot is good for your desired effect and placement. Basically just measure it and go from there.

No idea what it is, connected the led flex strip to the acc fuse, lit up when I turned the car to "on" a couple hours later, I go to start the car, it just cranks, won't turn over. Ran a test light on all the fuses, and they all have power going to them. Removed the whole set up. I think when I get it back i'm taking it to east coast custom and have them do the install. icon_sad.gif

btw phil, what lights did you use, cause the one I got had alot of silicone, and black background? They certainly were not durable.
