i just bought 60 of the LED bulbs off oznium.com here>>>
http://www.oznium.com/product_info.php/cPath/21/products_id/29
i was tellin one of my buddies about em, and he said ''haha they'll prolly blow out''. im a little skeptical of his observation, is he correct? or do i need to shove him in his locker.
thanks in advance.
**also, has anyone bought these, if so, what were your install experiences like, and how is their quality, and would you buy more again?
Thanks in advance everyone. icon_biggrin.gif

I uesd 20 for some (works fine) and 24ga for about 10 LEDS(much smaller and works just as well), no problems. If you want to use 24ga wire take some phone line and cut the outer case off. you then have 4-6 pieces of 24 ga wire that is insulated.

Just remeber you cant combine colors into a series. each color needs its own series or positive power wire.

JW:
i was going to electrical tape the wires to the bulb/resistor, however, a friend of mine said to use a solder gun so there will be no ''corrosion'', is that true/does it make that big of a difference
thanks in advance everyone icon_biggrin.gif

soldering will make it a lot more "permanent." whenever you tape wires together you always run the chance of them coming apart. to be safe, i'd recommend soldering them also...

I agree, It would be much better to solder them.
