So, I am getting the 360 hooked up to my computer as we speak. I have a couple questions though..

1. Is it possible to move music from my computers harddrive to the 360s harddrive?
2. Is that the same for movies?
3. Can I play games off of my computer?

Thats all I can think of at the moment..any help would nice. Thanks.

Hooked up to your computer like using your computer's monitor? Or perhaps hooking both up to the same network?

You can move music from your computer to your xbox, burn a CD on your computer and put it in the 360 and rip it to the drive.

So, if I hook up a lan cable to both the xbox and my computer, will I be able to transfer music from hard drive to hard drive?

Also, I am having a hard time connecting it, for some odd reason I have to keep going threw these steps..I added all the info and everything...I must have tested the connection atleast 20 times.

Well, your music can't physically transfer over. If your Xbox and PC are on the same network, you can stream music and video onto your Xbox.

Are you hooking your Xbox up to a router or directly to your PC?

You have to pay for a Gold account. Silver is free, but you won't be able to play games online. I believe it will still let you stream music/video like I described above.

You can still play your games, just not online with other people.

You might need a special crossover cable if you're connecting directly to your PC.

Either that or just connect both to a router/hub.

you can run your xbox thru your computer in a bridge connection type and play games online and use your computer as a custom lag switch ;) turn your firewall on LOW when play games then turn it on MEDIUM or HIGH to lag everyone else out and get unlimited kills for about a minute ;) hehehe

google how to bridge your xbox 360 ;)

Alright thanks..I'll be looking into that later tonight or tomorrow morning.

So, is there only one way to put music on the hard drive?

That way is only using a burned CD or a CD..I can't use anything else?

only works for about a minute then then the game will kick you, and it doesn't work for most games anymore.
