Sorry If these are huge.

Broken Driver, Pass, back window, Cracked front windshield. Hood was bent backwards, left side of my frame in the back is bent up about...1/2 - 3/4 inch. HU Ripped out of my dash, internal wires pulled out of computer behind glovebox.

You can see the mustang in the background.

EDIT: oh, both my headlights are broken too.

Uhm It was stolen by I don't know who. Just pretty much recently moved back to my little town. Someone got ballsy though. Stole a set of tires off someones truck right down the road from me too.

EDIT: Sasquatch probably had something to do with it too.

Yeah stereo's, wheels. **** sucks. I moved to a BIGGER city and didn't have this problem.

And Yeah, I have full coverage on it. The Ignition wasn't tampered with, so hope the insurance actually covers it. And I pray to god they don't total it, she's mah baybay

I live in a city of rednecks and you don't get all that **** done to you unless you've done something to **** someone off.

Maybe if you had one thing done to you it would be somewhat believable. But you have **** done to you all the time.

Ya that looks like a lot more than just someone wanting to rob a truck. They made it a point to **** everything up.

It only takes one smashed window to get to the headunit.

DAMN! Really sorry to hear about your ride getting trashed. icon_sad.gif Didn't you say in another thread that you didn't even have an alarm? Not to be a ****,but that certainly wasn't very smart, considering all the mods you have done to your truck, and things that have happened to your ride in the past. icon_redface.gif

The Bed is sitting in my driveway, im putting a false wood floor on it to haul my quad and have my airtanks and **** under it.

I havn't honestly done anything to **** anyone off. This is what people (high schoolers, and...the older creepers that still hangout with the highschoolers), do when they get bored. **** **** up. Tear gates down to get into a part of the woods, cut trees down and put them in the middle of roads. Drop pallets in the middle of roads with nails sticking out of them etc etc.

And I don't have an alarm no. I didnt even have a stereo since my last one got stolen. Sooooooooo yeah.

Sorry to hear about the truck....these people need a .45 round in the head.

Sad thing is for vehicle prowls and vehicle theft they will only get a month or 2 in jail; our system sucks sometimes

I knew that by looking at it ... icon_wink.gif
Cost on parts alone would be close to book value , then add paint/labor ect Not to mention that the stepside beds are EXTREMELY pricey... Add to that the bent frame and cost to repair that , not to mention the electrical/dash repairs

...the bed is in my driveway, nothing is wrong with the bed. I just took it off cause im welding a subframe on it to put a false floor level with the top to haul my quad on a wood floor.

EDIT: and my insurance bases what I paid for it on how they total it. which was 7k

Just because you truck got stolen does not mean anyone was mad at you. Could of been completely random act...... after all kids are nuts these days.

I just found out right after I moved in Neighbor 2 doors down had his car stolen. Was when the local news showed how easy it was to steal chrysler/dodge/jeeps. They literraly showed how to break in and jam a screwdriver with a hammer intpo the ignition.. needless to say they got sued lol. (trying to find video on youtube)

you can look up videos of people breaking into cars, alarms don't really stop the intruder. only really helpful if you have a 2way pager and can run after them once it goes off.

depends on how loud the alarm is...and where....

Allelectronics has some pocket-size piezo sirens that if installed correctly will make stealing a car a pain if they don't have ear protection.

I'm looking into a an idea that uses CCFL transformers to make a "shock handle" for my outer door handles. Building it is easy, making it weatherproof it not so easy.

It was prolly that doucher you had problems with earlier this year. he broke into your truck right?

And last year my dad and i had our cars broken into during a storm one night. they hit the whole neighborhood. people just suck.

The breaking in video was a big deal for ranger owners too. They had it on there from some random little town

For around your house, I would suggest one of these alarms. A well trained dog will protect your stuff and even the neighbors!

Former owners are like...60+ years old.

My dads chevy 4500 key turns on my truck and unlocks the door. so its not that hard.

$4,650 to fix it.
Insurance Claim adjustor dude Stan, said it looked worth fixing. So he wrote the check for it.

I get my truck back on the 12th. And it goes into the nice warm locked and camera'd garage icon_smile.gif
