So i really want an avic d3. or an AVH-p5000 awesome decks for my scion. Though do cost a **** load of money. So i'm thinking this as a temporary layover from my stock unit

Why not step up the extra 20bucks to the DEH-2100IB, it can control an ipod directly vs thru a headphone jack. Much better option (for the price) for ipods in my opinion as well as you can have a cleaner install.
