I had a question on the Inferno series tubes. Iwas wondering if the tubes have to be connected to an ECU or if they could be wired to several switches for individual color control? if they could, do they use constant 12 volts for main power, and switched grounds to turn them on and off or are they hooked to ground consant and used positive 12 volts to turn them on and off. If anyone has an answer could someone or even Phil let me know. was thinkin about just usin the tubes without an ECU until I can afford it. On a bit of a budget. Any help appreciated, Thanks.

Im sure its possible to get it to work.
But when my wires got cut on one of my 3 ft tubes, I couldn't get the tube to work right afterwords. and GOOD LUCK trying to get the plug fastened back on when you cut it off. There are alot of wires in there. http://www.oznium.com/inferno-ecu |

Well its a good idea but will not work with the Inferno tubes because they use microprocessors and a data connection, not just a simple on/off analog signal like the Blaze tubes use.
Why not use the Blaze tubes? 5 pixel segments in each tube. 8 wires: 3 positive, 5 negative. Good luck! |
