I would also find out why all the lights had to be re-wired.

if your getting a six man get one with the KLZE not the KLDE the ze is much stronger and more reliable. Also if you get it you may wanna look into the HEI mod those distys are prone to going out...

he named off 3 of the main noobie add-ons. i doubt there was a ton of mods done to it. that looks far from really modded. i'd say look again, for only 2000 i'm guessing there is problems with it that aren't mentioned.

the KLDE engine is a VERY dependable engine as is the manual trans.
my 93 gt went 200k+ with 3 clutches, 1 waterpump, timing belt
thats with me pushing it to the limit and aftermarket parts.
one BIG think to look for is the timing belt tensioner arm and the valve cover gaskets.
if those haven't been replaced, get ready for a big job.

parts are not expensive for these cars. most of the parts you can get off the probe or mx6 forums for CHEAP.
most of the time you can find local probe clubs that will do garage meets and fix something or add aftermarket for pizza and beer.

if you find one with the ZE MAKE SURE ITS A ZE!!
alot try to pass a ze intake manifold for a complete ZE engine

mx6.com and probetalk.com will be your best friends.
