So, i have a big/minor issue.. I installed a pair of cold caths with music control and a LED switch.. NOW i want two more cold caths for the rear seats. I was wondering how would i do this.. i have been drawing pictures for myself to visualize it but nothing.. i also been converting the power usage that i need. i guess i can just use a 3 amp fuse or a 5 amp fuse.. HELP please!!! if possible, email me at kevin_c1991@yahoo.com THANK YOUU!!!!!

Some drawings would be nice icon_biggrin.gif

The easiest way is to buy a second interface and cathodes and connect them to the same switch ... Double the existing fuse you are using ...

I'm not sure if the interface can drive two sets of cathodes ...

IF you only run one more set of Cathodes you should be ok with only one MI. Each cathode kit takes .7 amp and the MI can handle 2 amp.

Red and black to the same connections you have currently ... you can extend the red/black wires to the rear set of cathodes

so extend the existing red/black wires of the music interface to the rears? i just bought some terminals to connect the wires and an Add a Circuit.. since my friend and i did a EXTREMELY GHETTO and DANGEROUS installation... Breaking the fuse and slitting a wire and soldering it to the + of the fuse.. my friend is a GENIUS! haha.. but back to the topic.. ok so since the music interface has black and red wire.. how do i connect that to the transformer since it only has a red wire?

You connect the REAR to the SAME place you have the FRONT cathodes connected , Extended the rears power wire to the cathodes so they will reach where you want to mount them

You need to connect it like the front , if you grounded the front then you can ground the rear

hahaha thank you I willbe back to tell you how it goes. If anyone wants to do this, follow these instructions..

Cut the 2 wires(red&black) that come with the music interface and ground the black one

Extend the red wire to the rear cathodes to the transformor.

Connect the transformor to cathodes and bam. You're done!!

Thanks Bad Venge for helping me!! And thanks A-Ray for telling the total amp that the mi can take!
