just wondering what you guys would use to outline 2 12" subs in my truck, not the whole unit but the subs themselves. any ideas just throw it out there.

Are you wanting the light to shine onto the sub, or actually outline it like EL wire?

Acrylic tube bent around the sub and lit from the ends.

i was thinking outlining the sub but if you dont think that would look good then ill probably get flex led strips and light up my whole trunk. what do you think would look better? and corvette what exactly do u mean lit from the ends?

I would suggest just lighting up the whole trunk. Will, IMO, look better than the exposed.
Corvette means that you bend the tube then pub some LED's in the end which will light up the whole tube |

Tube or rod? I seen it done with acrylic rod (solid), will a tube work as well? |

Yarr when your talking about lighting up acrylic. Tube and rod mean the same thing.
Since obviously lighting up an ACTUAL acrylic tube wouldn't have the same effect. |

Doesn't matter. Both will act as a light pipe. You'll get a different effect with them. And to add the the fire... Some curtain RODS are hallow... Some fishing RODS are hallow... |
