I just installed the Inferno V2 Wheel well kit inside my 2006 Tacoma, everything looks amazing and the install went off without a hitch.

The only problem I seem to be having is getting the lights to flash/strobe with the music. I of course connected the aux in line to my decks line out ports, but when I turn music on the lights do not correspond with the music in the slightest bit. I adjusted the music sensitivity to 64 and made sure I was in the correct music modes, but to no avail. Is there something that I'm missing or is it possible I have a defective ECU or something to that effect?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have to tell the ECU if it should use line-in or microphone. Press and hold the MUSIC button until it switches ("L-" for line-in, "P-" for microphone).

Also you should not use 64 sensitivity, as this setting is a sensitivity. 64 means it'll pretty much set off at the tiniest noise it can hear. If it's listening to music at a good volume, it'll just appear solid. Stay near the low or middle and fiddle around until you find a place you like.

Make sure you are actually outputting something at the head unit, also. There may be an off chance that the line-out RCAs are turned off for some reason.

I adjusted the sensitivity to around 20 and that seemed to make a huge difference, thank you.

Also I adjusted the (H) level to make it tune in to the bass rather than treble but didn't see significant results. My line out currently is coming from my deck feed for an extra video monitor, if I changed the line out to my sub feed do you think I would get better results for tuning into bass rather than treble?

Yes, obviously if you are outputting treble signals then the V2 is not going to find any bass music to react to. Subwoofer line-out would work much better if you're looking to have it react to bass.
