Ok most may know me as Ryan71489. I spoke with Phil and he has allowed me to come back. I wanted a change so i am using this name instead of my old name because i have a new car. I now have a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. So far i have installed carbon fiber pillars, carbon fiber dash kit, rain guards, a blackout kit for the front bumper, tinted the heads and tail lights, tinted the windows 20%, installed a Perrin shorty 2" antenna, installed a red 12" OPTX neon in the drivers foot well to come on when the car comes on, installed red LED domes in all 3 dome lights and just got my spoiler installed on Friday but its just an OEM spoiler so its not that big of a deal but i will post pictures up when i am home.

I used all red lights because it matches the gauges when the headlights are on. I also installed 6000K HID's with a relay harness with the DRL bypass incorporated into the harness.I also threw on a plain chrome exhaust tip and The last thing i think is a Cobra XRSR9G radar detector.

I dont have the Impala running anymore because the engine went out(not sure what exactly happened though) and i am prolly gonna fix it and then sell it so as of right now its just sitting outside of my house.

Here is the pics of the light under the dash. Its a daytime pic and its blurry and sucks i will get a better one at night. It matches the gauges and the domes perfectly though.

i am thinking about black and blue wheels. For suspension i am thinking about megan racing coilovers and the exhaust is somewhere down the line after i do my intake. FI is also a possibility though.

If FI is in the plans, you should have bought an Evo as the internals will actually handle power.

I think the fake carbon fiber looks terrible. But the outside looks pretty good. I vote for some black chrome wheels.

shoulda got the impreza, the interior is better and you get awd. i drove one of these things at work and laughed at how cheaply the interior felt. at least you get a decent stereo from the factory. and of course, fake cf ftl

if the CF wasn't so silver in color i may like it.

And just like pwrngr said. If your thinking FI your thinking wrong. I wouldn'tbe so worried about the internals asi would a auto tras trying to hold up to power. If it aint an evo i wouldn't worry about boost.

Ehh as of right now i just have 2 12" neons in the footwells in red but might get a red undercar kit. I too expected the CF to be a little bit darker and not so glossy but oh well. If some1 doesnt believe its real carbon fiber that was used PM me your address i will send you some from the pieces i didnt need.

Also for a turbo the main problem is the POS tranny. The stock ralliart runs like 19lbs if not higher(may be 22) and the most i would be able to run is around like 6 or 7lbs. It would get me moving faster its all quite awhile down the road though.

Anybody know if adding an exhaust or intake would void the warranty? Some say yes some say no. I emailed the stealership but no answer yet.

Thanks for the compliments guys. For those who don't like it sorry i didnt get it to make you happy, i have done what i like and i was just sharing is all.

Put on the intake and/or exhaust if you want. If you have an issue and need to use the warrenty, remove it and replace it w/ the stock parts before taking it in.

Basically only those actual parts would be void of the warranty,or if those parts can be proven to be the cause of failure.

So i called the dealership and then Mitsubishi directly. They said i can put those parts on there but if something related to the exhaust system fails and it can be proven that my aftermarket exhaust did it then that part is voided. Pretty much what tat2 said.

Glad to know i can do some modifying though.

Thanks for the links too. I am putting that in my car for future reference.

My favorite thing about the car is that the interior is Carbon Fiber. I think that's bad ass.

Get rid of stock exhaust only complaint.

But otherwise I am digging the ride mate. Keep up the good work.

Love the CF even more. Great work.
