I plan on installing a LED light bars in my car. I will be hooking them up to my dome lights so my car will be illuminated when a door is open.
What I want to know is how do I hook it up to a switch? I want to be able to turn it without having to turn on the dome lights when the doors are not opened. |

There's a ton of threads about basic wiring like this, including stickies in multiple sections. Spend a little time browsing and searching, see what kind of idea you can get about basic wiring. Then if you have any specific questions please let us know.
