Most awesome Tennis shot ever?

This happened yesterday at the US Open

And that's why he won

Not the first time it's happened in tennis, but certainly an amazing shot.

He lost today though didn't he?

He won that match in the semi-finals. Im pretty sure he lost though.

Correct, del Potro beat him in the finals, though it was a close game - went down to the final set.

Wasn't he on like a 6 in a row championship streak or something? **** that sucks that he lost in the finals, but yeah, that was a baller shot

Only thing that tennis has in common with boxing is the fact that it's two people competing against each other facing each other. Nothing about hitting a ball across a court with a net compares to punching another man in the face or body.

Tennis is like soccer and a few other sports. They have a big match/event and everyone watches for a week then forgets about it for the rest of the year. As far as the class comment, just because they were POLO shirts dress up like old English people and the crowd is silent does not mean it's classy. Pretty sure these guys lose their **** weekly and then have a big apology session. Many of them are known for that.

I played a few times in high school it was enjoyable. But to watch it's horribly boring for me.

I enjoy watching tennis, mainly because I enjoy playing it. It also helps to understand the rules and the scoring system and such. I think that's why a lot of people don't enjoy the sport - they don't understand it.

And I agree with others - there's stupid and boring parts of every sport. It helps to root for a team, that's what keeps sports awesome.

i love playing tennis, i played all four years in high school, but i can't stand to watch it, it's way too boring. playing is a whole different story

Tennis is pretty fun to play. I'm more of a bowler though.

Tennis is pretty sweet, my friends and i enjoy watching it when there are big matches.
