Guess who's a dad?

That's right, me and the wifey had our first child on September 4, 2009. It was a beautiful baby girl. She was born at 8:13 a.m., weighed in at 7lbs 1oz, and was 20in long. Perfectly healthy.

Words cannot describe the experience. Right at 2 weeks later she is keeping her eyes open a lot more, sleeping very good at night , and is even starting to hold her own head up. Doctors say she is way ahead of the curve and is extremely healthy and strong for her age.

She is a daddy's girl too. Alise (the wife) holds her and tries to get her to stop crying, and can't. But when she gives her to me to hold, she stops crying. It's happened tons of times so this wasn't just a one time occurrence She also loves riding in my truck, the vibrations sooth her in her car seat.

Well that about wraps it up. She is spoiled beyond belief already. It is an amazing feeling and I am loving every minute of it. Between her and our handicapped puppy we have our hands full but it is fun and extremely rewarding.

I'm 19 Timbo, not that young I have always wanted to be a young parent. You know, be more involved and able to do stuff, rather than old and tired

And yeah, we will see how much stuff gets glow on it I'm defiantly excited to get to the age when she can drive those little cars, stuff those full of glow

I'm in college right now with the best job in the world for going to school. I am the sales/assistant manager at Radioshack. My boss is awesome, just promoted me again and got me a hefty raise + more commission. We are allowed to bring laptops in to work and do our homework and there are always TVs on so I never miss a game And I get paid damn well for doing it

Congrats again. I had a friend, who is honestly a **** dad(Not saying you will be), and once told me before the baby was born the "parent life would suck".

Asked him again two months after his son was born, and he said "I love it, and wouldn't have wanted anything else", and "I'd never give him up for anything".

Kinda funny how a bond and a great deal of love & affection grows that fast.

im not a dad, but i have a 2 yr old nephew, and he is my first nephew, and it was so weird cause when my sister told me that shes pregnant and im gonna be a tio...it was such an awesome feeling. i love spending time with my little neph, his name is maximus. lol. if being a tio is such an awesome and remarkable feeling, i cant even begin to imagine what being a dad must feel like. i cant wait til i become a dad.
but yea, congrats man. i wish you and your new family the best of luck. =)

Yeah the first couple weeks were pretty packed. Took me a while to get around to uploading pics and all that jazz, but I found some time

I've got a 6 year old son, and a 3 year old daughter, so I definitely understand what you're talking about.

I just came back from a 3 day car show in NJ with the wife and kids this past weekend....

19 and a dad... what took you so long? Kids around here shoot em out like hotcakes at 15-16yrs.. lol... Im 23 and pretty much a step dad.. I love it! (GF and her daughter live with me)

My sister-inlaw is 19 and about to have one in 1 week. It's about the stupidest things she could have done. Terrible relationship w/ the boyfriend, she's unemployeed, he works at McDonalds, and lots of CC debt.

Congrats on having the brains to get settled financially before bringing a dependant.
