ok so for some reason practially overnight, my subs have been sounding really ****. they still work, but for some reason they just dont sound the same and sound just straight up bad. but i dont smell anything burning or distortion.

are they blown? or what could be the reason for this?

is your gain turned up on your amp? Also, isnt this the $150 setup? or something like that? You get what you pay for.

Check your gain though. Or loose wires.

haha its cool man.
yea thats true, i remember turning up something on my amp cause i wanted them to hit harder and it sounded fine for a bit, but i think now its getting to be too much.

which wires? or replace all the wires?

Well what does it actually sound like? Do they pop when you turn it up a bit,or when you push on the cone does it sound crunchy/scratchy? icon_confused.gif

they just sound distorted. but i turned down some stuff on my amp to its all good now
