ok so i just got my cathodes today, and one of the wires came out of the little clamp thing at the tip, so i fixed that and i plugged it into the transformer but it wouldnt go in cause the plug ins, inside the transformer got pushed into it. so when i pulled out the cathode plug in, BOTH wires got pulled out of the plug in and the tip got stuck inside. so then i said to myself F*** IT. so i just ended up crimping the white wires to some other ones and hooked it up to a fuse on my fuse panel and grounded it. and they wont turn on now.

WTF! what is the deal! do i really NEED the transformer to power them? or what is a good alternate method. im sooo **** right now. sorry for the long story. haha ugh FML!

any help is good. thnx.

They absolutely need the transformer, the cathode tubes won't fire on a straight 12 volts . Contact Oznium, they have excellent customer service and should arrange a prompt replacement for you .

Unquestionably . But is it a fair reply to a customer that may have had a defective product to simply point out there are better products ? icon_confused.gif
