I have a 1998 audi A4 that uses H1 bulbs for the high beam and H1 for the low beam Do you guys know if you can use high beam and low beam hid kits in the same car?

Yep, you certainly can!
You might find that the high beam isn't really necessary to change to HID though, unless you drive a lot on country back-roads. One issue to take into mind is that HID ballasts don't like being constantly turned on/off. |

no they dont! youre exactly right phil. but yeah you can get HID's for just about anything now. but like phil said most HID kits dont come with a high beam HID bulb, they mostly come with halogen bulbs. but you really dont need high beams. i lived in the sticks in tennessee before moving to rhode island and i never needed mine. and i would recommend the 10k HID's because they're about the purest white and in some states the 8k and 3k bulbs are illegal because of the blue and yellow tint. so thats another thing to check into before buying them.

10k has a blue tint, 5-6k isas close to pure white as you can get.
