Ok i just saw a newer product from Oz and figured i would give it a go. It is the side emitting "headlight" led strip. I am going to be going with cool white for legality reasons since they will be hooked up to my headlights w/o a switch. I am including a picture of my headlight, my question is how should i mount it?

Here is the original picture in case anyone has any ideas that i didn't include that you think might work well.

I am also going to be doing cup holder LED's with white superfluxes. How many should i use for each cupholder? I was originally going to do 3 for each cup holder. Any thoughts on that?

I have red LED domes now but i cant see a damn thing, they are bright but because of the red light can't see **** so they are getting changed over to cool white and im also doing cool white parking lights too and possible cool white puddle lighting too that will come on when the front driver or front passenger door is opened .

Any thoughts on anything please share!

Thanks,
Ryan

I personally like Option 3 since it doesn't round out to the side of the car

Yea i can't decide between 3 or 4. After some debating i too don't like the strip would end up on the side of the headlight. After i get some cash i will decide with the strip on the car until then i will probably just keep going back and forth. Thanks guys.

I like 3/4 as well ... Measure distance it might be the strip length will decide for you

I'd have to see a full frontal to decide. Hard to tell with those shots.

Technically one would be enough, two, three, or four would work.

Personally, I like using 5mm LEDs for cup holders because you can shave the tips off to make them flat (flush), get a better diffused/even light distribution, pay less money per LED, and in my case a better more rich color.

(blue superflux versus blue 5mm LED, the 5mms were a better blue in my opinion)

Or make it multiple colored cup holder.

1 each of a RGB 5mm, hooked up to a nice controller and BAM. ***** like crazy?
