me and my buddy are planning on smoking his taillights on a 05 silverado but he doesnt want the lights to be too dim.
We are trying to decide either one high intensity led flood in each brake light, and turn signal and reverse light. Or we could use 8 4 chips in each brake light, 5 in the turn signal and 5 in the reverse light. i read that the floods are the perfect size for the 3157 hole so the ease of the floods is good. Im not sure which will be brighter though! |

no opinions on whether a bunch of 4 chips, or a couple floods will be brighter?

i heard the leds in the floods and spotlights spit out a signal the interferes with your antenna.
i think multiple lights whould be a better choice for visibility reasons, just because you'd probably just see the source of the light with tinted tails. |
