9006 hid kit will not work

can any one shed some light on my sistuation?
i bought a hid kit for my ford explorer the lights will work if pluged in to someone elses car but not mine. tried both the low beams and hi beams ? DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? 2002 FORD EXPLORER XLS

flip the polarity around maybe? make sure the plug is in all the way

Be sure to check what wires do what on your truck and make sure the wires on the kit are wired correspondingly because almost every kit I've bought from Ebay I've had to rewire the plug to make it work. Good Luck!!!!

More than likely you will have to do what they're telling you, where the factory wiring harness connects to the HID harness, flip the plug upside down and then try it. Its the same way on my blazer.

It is quite possible that your car is built to have your lights in the daytime??? Possibly remove the Fuse? Switching Polarity could be quite deadly... I would not do it...But if i was a dare devil...I would do it BUT I would do it for a split second.

I just put 9006's in my s10. make sure your hooking them up to the RIGHT bulb wires, mine didnt work cause I plugged the 9006 in the 9005 wires.
