I went on my first trip to china this year and was stunned at the amount of LED lighting they had their city of Suzhou ingulfed in. It was extreme overkill but extremely cool at night. They even gave every tree leds. Here are some minor pictures of them.
The coolest one I saw was a 30-40 story building that was playing random tetris down the whole structure but I dont have a picture of it unfortunately.
This was in a temple ouside the city. http://s421.photobucket.com/albums/pp292/cloved...on=view¤t=P7010624.flv They also did a light show every friday at that same lake. It had submerged leds under a large portion of the water and they actuall had a huge mist spraying machine set up and when the mist hit they had led's light up pictures into the mist. Also there was fire surrounding it. Sorry the pictures I have dont do justice to what im explaining but always seems like you never have the camera at the right times Here is a picture of my car interior with blue while im posting.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing the photos. Got anymore? China is ahead of the game when it comes to lighting technology, there is no doubt about it.

I have more pictures of china itself but not of the night life led scene. If you would like to see them can you direct me to the correct forum to post the pictures in or would it be ok here?
Thanks for the welcome. |

Main reason being my dad is working there for two years so I went to visit him and take advantage of the opportunity. Funny I can tell in some of those pictures where you were.
How about yourself? I saw the picture of the possible hospital visit? My dad actually broke his ankle while I was there and he had to stay in the hospital which was interesting to be apart of. Got a few laughs out of people wondering into his "private" room just to stare at him for a few minutes... of course he wasnt so happy about it. |

Visiting LED factories nearby. Wow, working there for two years is pretty intense. I hope he either loves Chinese culture or is getting paid well

Luckily he does enjoy the culture but I think he is getting tired of being there. This is his 3rd time going to work over there so he knew already if he could handle 2 years.
Must have been fun speaking with the factory teams when you visited. Even people that spoke english i had a hard time holding conversations with myself. |

Haha that's actaully a rather nice / clean toilet for Chinese standards. Of course in the modern hotels they have normal toilets, but everywhere else is this weird thing.
Chinese truckstop bathrooms = fail |
