Wow, $25 a bulb over there ? Any reason these couldn't be used with the Flowlighting ballasts ? (Ballasts are universal ?)

It does say only sold in pairs ... $25 a bulb seemed cheap, but $25 a pair seems ridiculous . Didn't the Flowlighting kits sell for like two bills when they were available on Oz ? Now you can buy a whole kit for $65 ? Am I missing something or did these get crazy cheap when I wasn't looking ? icon_eek.gif

Nope, they're crazy cheap now. Ebay has some bulb pairs for like $20 I think. Sheesh!

NP Blazer ;)

ddmtuning I actually get sets for under 60 Shipped using my dealer acct so yea prices are cheap now, when I got them for my bike 3yrs ago it was like 150 for one bulb/ballest. Did my truck year and half ago and it was the same price... but for 4bulbs/ballest. Did not take long for the market to explode on them that for sure.

ddm ftw, i just ordered lights for my bike from them a week ago, fast shipping and great prices. $100 shipped for a slim kit with different colors/temps and 2 bulb sizes. (their kits are cheaper if you need a pair rather then 2 "single kits")

I've been using HID Extra , I've got a discount code brings the kits down to $60 shipped ... Bulbs are like $20 shipped ...
Used tons of them never had any troubles except one person mounted the ballasts ON the radiator icon_rolleyes.gif Gee wonder why that failed ,HEAT maybe puppy_dog_eyes.gif Even that they sent a replacement ...

If your kit uses standard D2S HID bulbs (not the re-based bulbs), I suggest you look for a pair of Philips 85122+ bulbs. They are about the brightest and most well constructed HID bulb available. Their color is 4300k and they pump out 3200 lumens! The downside is that they are a bit expensive. Then again, so is replacing your bulbs with inferior chinese bulbs every couple of months. icon_rolleyes.gif

no aftermarket HID kit uses D2S bulbs, they are all rebased. you would need a retrofit to use the 851222+'s. but even still they are only like $60 a pair if you want to go the extra mile.

I don't know if anybody is familiar with www.ignitedperformance.com or not but if any of you read Super Street or Import Tuner magazine then you see their labels on the cars all the time. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
