Ok, so im wanting to install those side mount led things. Im going to wire them up to my parking lights
What i want to do is just cut into the wires where my parking light connects into my headlight. pretty straightforward but, i looked in the FSM and it says that the bulb for the parking light operates @ 5 watts. The side mount led strip says 12volts. the power dissipation per strip is 1.3 watts. i would only have 1 hooked up so would it work?

Yup . They're both 12 volts, that's all that matters .
The wattage doesn't need to match in any way . Just like you can put a 60 watt, 90 watt, or 150 watt bulb in the same light in your kitchen . |
