I searched for this, but couldn't find it...

I'm looking at ordering some red led flex strips to put under my dash and under my seats. Will the 9.5 be bright enough for both, or should I go with a bigger size?

Personally I'd put as big a strip under there as will fit.. especially with red which tends to be less bright than some of the cooler colors . Really its up to you though, just a personal preference on how bright you want the underdash to be .

These are 20 inches long and give off good glow even in red.
You can cut them in half with a hack saw.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm going to go with the flex strips though. I've had them before, but I took them out when I did my gauge swap because I thought I was going to go with purple cathodes. I ordered them, but I kept hearing horror stories about the transformers so I never installed them.
