Ok, well I have been planning to install the new Audi style lights for a while but the funds were lacking. Now that i have the funds, I need some help. I am completely CLUELESS about wiring. The most experiance is hooking up the HID kit that I have on the car. I have DRLs but i took the fuse out for the lights to run during the day. I just need a few pointers to get the DRLs not to run, but I want the LED strips to run in their place. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!
Thanks |

Pictures would help I have no IDEA what a Vues headlights look like or how they are wired ...
Normally the DRL's are a lower voltage to be less bright then the headlights , Since you removed the fuse you have no voltage to them ... If you get a voltmeter , and reinstall the fuse you can check the voltage .. If the voltage is full 12 volts then you can attach the side emitting strip directly to the wire .... If it's a lesser voltage you can use seperate LED's and get a resistor of proper values to work with it ... OR Leave it as you have it now and run a new wire out to the headlights and use a relay to trigger it when the vehicles on ... |
