cop pulled me over for having red parking lights and told me i had the following illegal modification
red parking lights headlight covers (paint) taillight covers (paint) license plate cover eyebrow below the AS1 line tinted windshield (entire thing) front window metered at 1% rear window metered at 0% modified exhaust aftermarket steering wheel with no airbag and i think thats is... each one is its own $114 fine. he asked why i got a ticket in oct of last year and because i told him the truth he was nice enough to only give me 1 $114 fine instead of 10 of them. he was a pretty cool cop just took him forever to find the statute in the book of what he was going to ticket me for lol. last time ill take my car to downtown disney |

Ouch!
Did you get pulled over on Disney property? I feel like I don't see cops on property ever. Maybe once every 2 weeks. |

So which one did he ticket you for?
I don't really feel bad for you, since I'm sure you knew before you did them. |

I got pulled over by a state trooper once who pretty much gave me the same lowdown. Took half an hour inspecting my car inside and out writing down everything illegal
Then I get pulled over every once in a while for "speeding" by local cops, they warn me and go on with their day, not caring about any of the mods. Cop the other day pulled me over in the truck for speeding, my speedo must be off because he clocked me WAY over what I was actually going. Told him that, and he said "well that's ok, just get that done and be careful, some cops will ticket you for not having mud flaps on the lifted truck" At least he was cool enough to only write one ticket. If it isn't obstructing other drivers they should really find better things to do. |

Knox, i always see cops rolling around in downtown disney but this guy pulled me over at the chevron just off the property.
crazy, i got a ticket for the tint being below the AS1 line, which i guess is the same as my last ticket in my last car but that one was labeled as the whole windshield being tinted (which this is too, on top of the brow below the AS1 line) and im not complaining about the ticket at all, im actually REALLY happy he didnt seam to care about the air bag cuz last i checked that was like a $1000 fine. It took the cop so long (it was almost a 45 minute stop) that i really thought he was waiting for a tow truck or something due to everything that was wrong. Mastor, its debatable if the stuff hinders other drivers or not. my brake lights are painted but i did mod it to have 4 brake lights instead of 2 and a red neon tube under the car as a brake light. the headlights being painted does cut down on output a smidgen but i have 6000k HIDs so it also helps the glare. the tinted windshield + the painted headlights is prolly the worst thing on the car and i wont let other people drive the car at night because of it. you have to pay a lot more attention to your surroundings esp in a college town because a lot more things "come out of nowhere" its just funny that i drove 945 miles over the weekend and get pulled over 20 miles from my house. |

1% tint? Come on, seriously dude???? That means that the tint only lets in 1% of the light! That is seriously not safe at all man. In a trailer show car yes, in a daily driver (especially driven at night) oh hell no! Go at least 20% so that your not a hazard on the road. I know you think you can see perfectly and that your a great driver, but it just takes one second and your plowin into someone cause you didn't see them.

Same way I feel... Also, you're driving a Scion, not a Ferrari, put the stock steering wheel back |

Having driven an xB for a few years, Scion's have a pretty fugly steering wheel. I would've gotten rid of mine in a heartbeat if the funds were available. Granted the xD's isn't as bad as others, but still... |
