Diggin' the lights, look pretty damn good.

One of our neighbors back home had an NSX until the garage flooded... never ran quite right after that. I love the way they look, but I just can't fit properly or comfortably in the blasted things.

I love how people with Honda's stick the Acura badge on, and people with Acura's stick the Honda badge on. biglaugh.gif

Yeah, same company, I get that. But really? icon_rolleyes.gif

Looks sick, by the way.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

And the reason for the Honda Badges is because really to me it’s putting the car back to its true form HONDA. In Japan and other places around the world it is a Honda NSX not Acura. Everything else says Honda on the car so why not? JDM(Japanese Domestic Market) Badges you will see a lot of times on Hondas and Acura’s. For the most part if you ever see a Honda with a Acura logo they are just trying to church up the car to impress the people that don’t know better. The true Honda enthusiast has no problem slapping a Honda badge on their Acura because they are a Honda fanatic for the most part. Plus the JDM way is the only way to go with these cars. But everyone has their own taste which makes this a beautiful world!

For example US has the Acura RSX, Japans version is called a Honda Integra(same car for the most part) Keep in mind Japan does not sell the Acura brand. Everything is Honda in Japan not both. The US Honda crowd has always gone extra lengths to mod there cars to the specs of all JDM cars for as long as I can remember. It is a big part of styling for the Honda group, and will always be that way. Hope that helps explain it a little more.

I still think it's funny.

It's funny because sometimes the people in Japan want to be more American.

They are superflux. You can clearly tell just by the light output.

Eh. He is wrong. Here is a list done in June.

That little gecko can't save you 15 percent or more on car insurance if you bought a Nissan GT-R, apparently. Or a Dodge Viper. Or a Hummer H2. He might have a deal for you, though, if you're driving a Hyundai Santa Fe.

Insure.com has posted its list of the most, and least, expensive cars to insure. They explain, "Sports cars dominate the ‘most expensive' list, with the GT-R driving away with the top bill." On the other end of the scale, "Low rates tend to reflect a vehicle's safety, which is why larger cars and minivans dominate the least-expensive list." The website examined the average insurance premium on 300 different 2009 model year cars, assuming in every case that the driver was a 40-year old man with a 12-mile daily commute. They found that "Cars shoot to the top of the ‘most expensive to insure' list because their drivers have submitted frequent and expensive car insurance claims. On the other hand, when a car model attracts experienced drivers who don't crash often, all drivers of that model benefit."

Ten Most Expensive Cars to Insure:

Rank Average Premium Vehicle

1 $2,533 Nissan GT-R

2 $2,446 Dodge Viper

3 $2,236 BMW M6

4 $2,186 Ford Shelby GT500

5 $2,088 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

6 $2,071 Audi S8

7 $2,020 BMW M5

8 $1,912 Hummer H2

9 $1,881 Lexus IS F

10 $1,819 Porsche 911

Ten Least Expensive Cars to Insure:

Rank Average Premium Vehicle

1 $832 Hyundai Santa Fe

2 $840 Kia Sportage

3 $848 Hyundai Entourage

4 $857 Kia Sedona

5 $870 Kia Rio5

6 $871 Honda Odyssey

7 $881 Smart Fortwo

8 $911 Saturn Vue

9 $913 Mazda Tribute

10 $915 Chrysler Town & Country

And even bigger list here. Including why lambos and Ferraris are not on list.

You have to remember the NSX is OLD ... The book values on them are pretty low now, so easier to insure ... When they were New I was paying $2k a year on one ....

My list was from 2004 biglaugh.gif

I'm pretty sure the reasoning was because parts were really hard to come by.

Aluminum body panels ARE very pricey for them ... But remember with lower KBB values it's easier for them to Total it with a minor damage wreck...
