Sat in traffic to get these from a running shop in Berkeley the other day. Its best to try them on since the sizes are not conventional.

Really cool shoe - they've got different styles, including on with a fully enclosed upper.

They get a lot of strange looks and compliments.

I don't run, but they are supposed to be very good for running.

Quick drying (good for beach), and easy to clean.

I recently trekked across a sharp lava field in them, and it felt as if I were walking barefoot (yet still with protection).

I kinda want a pair for barefoot skiing. I always have the problem of brusing the bottom of my feet. I might have to look into these.

Those seem like they would make perfect lake/beach shoes.

I have been using these $10 pair of deck shoes from walmart. They are cheap and since I usually lose'em anyway it's just $10.
