I am trying to understand the toggle switches with the on/off/on feature. Does this work like the dome light in vehicles where you have door/ off/ on?
If so am I able to tap into the door switch to obtain the same options as the dome light. I know these questions are probably crazy but I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks for any help. |

You need to specify what your planning ... certain door switches are NEGATIVE trigger /not positive ...
With the negitive trigger you can use teswitch to ground for light on and ten the other on to use door switch to ground |

- Yes, it is similar. - Yes, you can do that. As venge mentioned, just make sure you know what kind of signal your door switch changes so you can hook it up properly. |

Let me see if I got this. Assuming my lights are negative triggered, I connect the "on" ground to one side of the toggle switch and the "door" ground to the other side of the toggle switch. The constant power goes on the middle pin.
Does that sound right? |

IF it's a negitive trigger you conect the DOOR switch to one side , GROUND to the other side and the middle feeds the - on the lights then connect the + to the lights thru a fuse
