Hi. I´m just a new guy really hooked on car audio, if anyone could get me out of my ignorance i will really appreciate it.
What would be better?

To wire a lanzar (2300 watt) 1400 rms monoblock amp stable 1 ohm to a kicker cvx or l7? The subwoofer 2 or 4 ohm?

To wire a lanzar (2000 watt) (what is all of this?# 1x800W RMS at 4 OHMS. 1x1400W Max at 2 OHMS
# 1x2000W at 1.3 OHMS?) to one of the same previous mentioned subwoofers?

Square 15 or round 15? Which is better?
Thanks

I don't know enough about the different watt/ohm set ups to tell you which one to get. I know some. But would rather hold back and let someone with more knowledge come in.

But what I do know is that I have heard both the square and round kickers. They both sound great. But any audiophile is going to tell you you will get better sound from a round speaker.

x2 on the round sub will offer better quality and sound, don't know why but that's the consensus across the board on forums, audio-stores, friends and installers.
1x800w rms is the measure of continuous power available/supplied. 1x1400w max is what CAN be provided during a short period of time. Comparable to a motor with nitrous... RMS would be the engine's normal power, and Peak would be with the nitrous - short period of increased power.
Ohms is the resistance of the circuit. When used in regards to the power ratings, the amp provides 800rms at 4-ohms). As ohms decrease (numerically smaller), the power available increases. So 500rms@4-ohms should be 1000rms@2-ohms. Are you sure the amp is 1400 rms? Or is it 1400 peak? I'm sorry, but I don't feel like wading through their entire mono-amp line trying to find the exact one... could you throw us a model number por favor? Would help with recommending the wiring setup and sub, that way you can get optimal performance and power from the combination.

Both subs you're looking at are DVC (dual-voice coil), which is the normal nowadays - offers more wiring options. Based on the info provided, I'd say run with the 15" L7, DVC 2-ohm (2-ohms/coil). Wired in series to bring the resistance up to 4-ohms, thus providing it with the 800rms the amp can handle. the sub can handle 100-1000rms, and the peak from the amp and what the sub can handle are fairly well suited as well.

I may have missed some stuff, or been a smidgen off-track on a few things. I've been doing a lot of research the past week or so trying to put together an optimal system to install when I get back stateside. However, I'm fairly sure it's on point.
