I have an 01 Grand Cherokee and the headlights have this haze on them. I tried this buffing thing at pepboys that helped a little but the haze still exsists. Whats the best way to get rid of it without replacing the lenses?

^^Well if they're really hazy, you'll more than likely need to wet sand and polish/buff them. icon_cool.gif

Wet sand them, then polish them with Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish, then polish them with Meguiar's Plast-X . That's what I do anyway . The sandpaper you use should depend on how hazy and scratched they are . For very hazy headlights you may want to start as low as 300, then use 600, 800, 1000, and finish with 2000 before moving onto the Mag & Aluminum polish . Starting with that low a grit can be time consuming and unnecessary if your headlights are only lightly hazed though, in which case you might be fine using using 1000, then 2000 grit before moving onto the polish . 1000-2000 grit sandpaper can be found in your local AutoZone, Pep-Boys, etc but probably won't be found at Lowe's or Home Depot . icon_biggrin.gif

The WET SANDING works ... 3M also makes a kit that goes on a drill and does a great job
