flood lights as running lights |

my truck does not have running lights but it has spots to put them so im going to buy some white flood lights to install there but i was wondering how bright are flood lights and would they work as running lights

They might be a little too bright to oncoming drivers. Chev/GMC trucks use a 4114 bulb (same output as a 3157 tail light bulb) for daytime running lights.

i could angle them down so they dont go straight out and aim down on the road where i need them

Running lights are for DAYTIME use really dom't need lights during the DAY

im thinking about hooking them up to a switch so i can turn them on even when the high beems are on also im geting som new A/T tires next weekend and should be getting a new battery soon cause i still have the original (from 01)
