Install in my area

Ok guys, here I am, a guy that is all thumbs and would never attempt to install a screw so you know a light set up is out of the question. I am in the Palmdale, Cal. area and can find no one that does this nor willing to try to do it. Can anyone advise me of where in this area or close to it I can go for my chevy silverado truck? Maybe you can find a stereo shop to do the wiring or do some reading on basic DC wiring.

Thank you for the suggestion, as previously stated if I tried the install I would be asking my insurence company for a new truck as I just burned down my old one. I did call a few stereo shops but none wanted to tackle the job as they had no previous experience doing this. I am open to anyone else suggesting anything, and I dont mind driving down to the LA area if someone can suggest a shop! Thanks again.

I think you really need to look/call around more and find a few more stereo shops. There's really no reason why they couldn't easily figure out,or even tackle such a simple lighting install. Anyway I find it very hard to believe that they've never done any lighting installs. I'm getting the feeling that they are just trying to blow you off to send you on your way,because they don't feel like doing the job. Keep looking,I'm sure you'll eventually find a shop that's willing to take your money for their services.

Ok, since you seem knowledgable in this area I will take your advice and search out more people in the stereo shop area. Perhaps this job is over their head and they just didnt want to admit it, but I am going to get the lights on my truck, no matter what. Thanks again!
