2009 2500 HD, he just bought a new Western 7'6" Poly Pro to plow with and a cap to do catering jobs. I am looking for a few things, including a mini LED light bar, led lights for all 4 corners of the truck, and the biggest window vent visors we can find. Any suggestions? Light bar must be less then 350, and corner lights must be less then 200 combined. Bust be amber in color as well And yes, I'm talking about those realy ugly huge window vent things. My uncle swears by them, has had them on his last truck for 13 years and they do work great for plowing. Must be clear or light tint so you can see through them. Also looking for wheel flares, big ones. Last edited by pOrk on Sat Oct 31, 2009 6:43 am, edited 1 time in total |

It uses the TIR 3 modules they are pretty bright ....
I hate to say it but the Streetglow pro strobe kit works very well for the money ... If you get them behind the amber turns can he get away with red flashing tails (or does it have amber on the rear as well ) |

They wont fit behind the amber reflectors, and they MUST be amber to avoid trouble with the law.

We can get away with flashing red as long as there's a yellow bar ontop ...
Hard to beat the prostrobes ... Unless you can get an Amber lollipop light and gut it for prostrobe use |

I am not interested in what he can " get away with " this truck will be on the road for up to 24 hours straight EVERY day there is snow on the ground. It WILL be 100 % legal, or it wont make as much money as it needs to.
Amber is the color, leds are the game. |

7'6" plow blade on a 1/2 ton? Or does he have a single cab 2500? If its a 1/2 ton hes gonna have fun with that huge blade.

Here's a good site: http://www.plowsite.com/
I would recommend amber whelen vertexs, in the rear reverse lights. The same for the front head lights or some amber lights behind the grill. Then a mini amber light bar up top. |
