I don't know about being the best, but alot of people rave about the quality and low price of ddm tuning brand kits on here.

Quality/price are two very different things ...
You don't see ANY OEM's using that brand ... BEST are get OEM ballasts and use bulbs to match your unit ... I've been using HIDExtra prices are very good I've got a code for $60 shipped a pair ... there bulb prices are very good as well |

Of course they are Mr. being that quality has to do with a degree,or grade of excellence and price has to do with having a monetary value of worth. So yeah, they are very different things.lol

I'm also looking for an HID kit for my car. I've heard good things about retrosolutions and they have an adjustable HID kit, but the price is double the prices previously mentioned.

I own both DDM and Retrosolutions, I get DDM for the low cost, I got retrosolutions for customer service and better product.
Both work great, DDM is alot lower cost but getting things warrantied or fixed is slower and more annoying (Print out a pdf., call them, fill out the print out and then mail it...). Retrosolutions is alot quicker with emails and such (had to swap up to a different kit and it was less than a day with emails and zero fuss). Either way you'll be happy, for my car and my buddies car, I got retrosolutions, for my bike and my other buddies bike I'm using DDM... can't really too wrong with either... |

Only issues I've had were a ballast tweaked out and a bi-xenon relay/harness went bad. They were quick with replacing the relay and harness (had to pay shipping, emails were slow, I've read calling is better for issues), I've not replaced the ballast since I don't own a printer (rarely have a use for one) and I got annoyed with the process to get the ballast replaced (print out form, call to get rma, fill out form with rma then mail.... If I'm calling why do I need to fill out a form, are they just making up the rma number with no onhand file?...) and I think it's past the two year warranty...
As I said, for the most part DDM has been good in my book. |
