You get the urge to build a proper wheel stand and not pay $250 for a Playseat!

Just finished the wheel stand last night, ran about 8 races with it before the 360 froze up on me. Needs to be dropped about an inch, but definitely works nicely!!

You could box it up in pieces with assembly instructions.

And for giving you that brilliant idea, I get one free right?

Looks awesome.

I think he was referring to the clothes iron. It's white and green like an xbox accessory.

Yeah, I thought as much, but best to let the natives run amuck for comedy purposes anyway ;)

It's detachable from the steering wheel itself. Personally I think it's too wide at the front, but thinner may have compromised the structure. I chopped about an inch and a half off of it the other day so it sits lower and offset the pedal now so I'm only using my right foot. The constant bow-legged bit was getting tiring.

I guess since I have a wheel I overlooked the clamp. It all looked like wheel to me.

;)

So is Forza 3 worth a pickup? I played Forza 2 quite a bit, customized a lot of cars that I would love to import over...is that possible?

You can do engine swaps, and drivetrain swaps. I have an all wheel drive 1000+ HP '69 Charger. The game is insane. You can drift easier in this one, and the graphics are gorgeous.

There is also drag racing.

It didn't give me an option to import my previous Forza 2 career, which would have been nice since I was level 40. Already at 20 now and I've only had it for a week and a bit (I really like racing).

It's definitely worth a purchase though

Yes. there are people who actually make money designing and selling cars with their photos on them.

There are also Foxbody stangs, and every gen of camaro. something about a 3rd gen IROc with a stock car motor in it that just sounds right.

If I don't make it out to get it tonight, I'll be picking it up in the morning. I'll have to hit you guys up and go drift around with you. (or race I suppose lol)

You're on my list. Both of ya are ;)

I need to make a sweet mount for my wheel. I have extra wood, I have 2x4's and sheets of MDF but I don't have a router to make the edges look nice.

So for now, I'll use the ottoman and the tv tray. biglaugh.gif biglaugh.gif
