I work at BAE Systems, a defense contractor. I'm a System Admin for the Engineering department. I graduated with a B- from college, and I make the same if not more than people with a 4.0. I try to remind people that a 4.0 may get you in the door, but it's your ability to think on your own, and get the job done that keeps you employed. I'm not generalizing about 4.0 students, but I've known quite a few that can't think for themselves, and have minimal socialization skills. (There's a 4.0 student where I work, and everybody hates him, he has no social skills, and the only time he can get anything done, is if you tell him EXACTLY what to do. If he has to make a decision, or think, he's totally lost... biglaugh.gif )
