illegal exhaust? lol.. they get you for noise polution or something? Or did you accidently purposely forget to re-attach the exhaust pipes to the headers =P

Yeh, I really dont see why they would give u a ticket for illegal exhaust, unless he heard it and then checked under ur car to see if everything was legal. Sounds like the bs ticket I heard someone say they got on here that had to with their wheels being to shinny. I mean wtf is that. Cops must be getting bored nowadays.

lol, the wheels being too reflective is probably somewhere in the codebook =P Could reflect sunlight and blind someone =P hehe

In Texas they can check you exhaust and if its to loud or you don't have it properly connected you will be written a ticket for noise pollution. In order to pass inspection you either have to have a really good exhaust set-up or revert it back to stock just for the inspection.

HAHA michigan has no exaust testing, good thing to cause a before i got my new exaust, you could hear me a block away, not anymore though, that set me back, well my dad back $700, but it sounds good now, not like an old beast anymore

If your exhaust is loud enough to be considered an annoyance they give tickets for it in MASS. Alot of people dont know that Lifting or Loweing a car or truck is illegal in alot of states too. But the police dont know either.

State Troopers here in Wisconsin will rape you hard for modified suspension. They come up to your car with a tint meter, a tape measure, a condom, and a jar of loob.

the tint meter and tape mesure i know what they can be used for. but what would everything else be used for?

well the ticket was for illegally modified exhaust or cutout.. even if they looked under the car it would LOOK all legal anyways.. cept a lil bigger piping.. the damn cop didnt know what SHE was talking about.. i was told.. "SHE THINKS ITS ILLEGAL" .but i ended up with 3 tickets in a week for it.. i then found out through my friend whos a cop.. that i had 4 complaints on sound violation for my stereo.. but he said the cops put the sound complaints and the exhaust together instead of reading the whole thing.. but so far i had 1 dropped to 52 bucks and the complaints DISSAPPEARED
