I was looking at the colored Plasma Glow bulbs, I know these are not really approved by local laws but neither is neon. And the cops are pretty relaxed when it comes to neon but how do the police deal with the whole colored bulb issue?

i have some 6000K blue lights and have never been pulled over..... I also have some blue reverse lights and blue license plate lights and have never been pulled over for those either. But how often do you go in reverse with a cop around. But the license plate lights..... the law is you can't have neon lights around the license plate.... mine are bulbs and i have had cops behind me at night and not pull me over.

Thanks, I'm looking at getting one of these. Just don't want to get pulled over the first night and have to get them taken out.

Those are show only lights...you will get a ticket (depends on how laxed the cops are)
I have purple ones but they are more like white with a hint of purple. Those are just straight color. |

I really dont think you would have to worry too much, I mean have you seen an Evo's headlights? They are like green and purple or something like that cuz they are HIDs and cops cant do anything to them cuz the lights came stock on the car. But I would think you would be ok with them.
