so i was bored and decided to take off the door panels and see if there was anything to do with them.. so i finaly came up with putten 30 red/blue LED's on each side as an extension to my UB kit. i have not dont the driver side but this one door took me a good 2 days of frusteration...

I believe Cheesy did this with only like 4. i wanted to do it with a few as well... but the way my door sits I don't think I can. Unless they were flushed.

That'd probably look real good.

Did you wire them up to your courtesy lights, or are they on a switch or something?

looks good, but you should have altered them and ran a switch for each color

I did that one time with like 6 LEDs but it broke and i never liked how it looked with only 6.

i think that its possible to use cathodes on my doors. the thing is they could break if i close the door too hard. correct? i think i've broken door pocket cathodes in the past that way icon_confused.gif

Looks good, man. The LED's are pointing at the ground right?

I have had this idea for a while now, but I've wanted to use an LED tube like ICELED or something so that it could change colors, scan and do patterns.

Looks like a good install tho! Nice work.
