I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but...

Is it possible to take the wires that go from the light that turns on when my door is opened(under the dash) and simply hook those up to the LED with the resistor on it? Or will this not work at all? Also, would it be possible to hook up multiple LED's this way?

I looked at some of the other posts, but this is the first time I'm attempting to do this, so I want to make sure I understand it, but from what I've read it sounds like it should be possible.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Yep, the wires going to the dome lamp are 12 volts so using an LED with a resistor would work fine.
You could also hook up multiple LEDs if you want to. Check out my LED diagrams in the Diagrams section for more info on connecting multiple LEDs.
