friday when i got home my new control box was waiting for me...so i put it right in and so far its working(thank god)....they put holes in the bottom i guess to act like a vent so it doesnt overheat, they moved when the music control button it,also there is another wire you need to add to the rainbow wire for it to work right, and if im not mistaken it may be alittle heavier......ooh yea it also makes a clicking noise everytime it changes color when its in color changing mode...but thats normal because i called to find out....but at least it works now

The clicking noise you hear when changing color modes means they probably started using a relay in the circuitry. The relay is what makes the clicking noise.

it nothinh special....you know where the rainbow wire plugs into the control box?....well in stead of plugging that right into the control box you plug it into the new wire they give you(its only like 3" long)then plug that into the control box....once you get it you'll see that its really self explanitory....on another note...i installed my front tube, and changed the side tubes so that the glow will come out more(hopefully)and shaved all the emblems of my truck..i'll get some pics up tonight once it gets dark

I got my controller last week, but that little adapter cable is anoying as hell! I wanted to put the rainbow ribbon cable along with the power and ground wires in some wire loom, but the plug on the adapter is huge!
Does anyone know if i can put the adapter on the other end of the cable (between the cable and the distribution box instead of between the cable and the controller)? Still waiting for the front tube |
