Does anyone know what else I can do to my 98' accord v6 3.0L engine? I mean short of a supercharger/turbo, and nos. Everything is so expensive. Headers are like $1300. That's a lambo kit, although I would never get one of those. But $1300 is half way to a supercharger. Is there any other cheap mods? I've already done exhaust and CAI.

what about better wireing for ground, spark plugs, and positive wires, of course they are no big jump in horsepower but it will add a bit.

plugs, wires, pullies will gain MAYBE 5hp. they arent worth it. just save ur $$ for a turbo or supercharger...bolt ons, especially on a smaller engine, dont add up to **** power wise

I say buy a new car. Although I have seen many of them in tuner mags that are pimp as ****. I have the same car just a 99, the tranny is kinda **** on mine idk about urs. I have heard about conversions using a 5 speed out of an acura legend, if that could be done u could have a faster car if u decided to do some engine work. Anyways its a great car.

JET ENGINE, get a mini jet engine and weld it into your trunk to your frame and then run a massive air flow tube from the top of the car down into the Jet Engine. If you don't win then catch them and get in front of them so you can melt there car or overheat there engine. Then get those lambo doors that lift straight up and you can fly.

there really isnt anything you can do when it comes to a n/a car. i'm not an engineer, but i know more than a little above average when it comes to making cars faster.
alright, you're biggest problem, not to be a ****, is that you're trying to make a honda fast. economy really arent known to be fast. the selling point on any honda is that it gets great mileage, and lasts forever. If you're truly concerned with making it faster, you might as well give up, the only thing you can do thats anywhere close to quick involves forced induction, or N2O. but you've already made it clear that you dont want to dump a lot of money into a pipe dream. all i can think of is alcohol injection, port throttle body, port head, port intake and exhaust manifold, 3" exhaust, fin a honda block that bolts up to you heads that has a greater stroke, bore it out as much as possible, high compression pistons, lightweight internals, dual valve springs, etc. but to do all this requires money, lots of it. the alternative is to sell the car and buy a better one. think 90-94 eclipse, talon, or laser, turbo, and AWD. then join dsmtalk.com and boost away. speed kills, drive a honda and live forever |
