For which vehicle? The Daytona or the Cougar? Do you live in an area that commonly floods alot or on a dirt road ?

MIGHT BE...is the key word..but go for it, better than the stock...
shouldnt have a problem with water tho, just dont nail your throttle when theres alotta water out, watch out for big puddles, etc...sure you know that tho i heard it dont really give any more power...turn2 CIA one heard its proven to give out power, but i dont know anyone that has one....good luck |

Yea, you can do that... You might not notice that much of a performance gain really
Of course, if your not really going the "performance" route with your Cougar, then you could always just save the money instead. In other words, just a CAI isn't really going to do much by itself as far as the car's performance goes L8R, |

yea thats what most people go for i think, is the sound they make....now getting one for my car would be pointless if i wanna hear the growl..my mufflers are way to loud to hear engine noise, but for the look, id get it...

I put an exhaust in on my car before I put my CAI in. With the exhaust it was loud. After I bought the CAI it because twice as loud. Also when I barely push on the gas it makes a screaming sound like a supercharger. It's pretty cool. As far as performance wise. You WILL see a difference from stock. I know I did

i HIGHLY doubt ur going to see any significant difference. the dfference u notice is in ur head. u think since u spent $$ on something that claims XX hp gain u got it but in reality what u got was a mere increase in throttle repsonse...especially on anything under 5.0L...on a v8 there may be a little difference. ur best bet is to remove any bends in the factory air ducting and any silencers in the intake box. adding a free flowing filter doesnt do much besides contaminate the mass air flow sensor quicker and allow more **** in the engine. besides the bling factor and the "cool growling sound" they arent worth the material they're made from.

you're full of **** if you think there is any noticeable increase. the actual increase is less than 1hp. trust me, all it does is remove a bit of a restriction in the intake, which only benefits in better throttle response. if you want an intake/exhaust items with actual proven hp gains, not just some bs froma sales rep. get a turbo.
