first off if u get a s-dime with the 4.3L votech...watch out for the intake gaskets as they like to get sucked in the manifold and leak...

second, watch for rust. anything that old from a region with snow is gunna be rusty unless well care for.

third, if u get a 4wd make sure to change all the fluids like the axle, t-case, trans fluid...

what yr are u going for? my friend had a 96 blazer(before the body style change) and it was an overall good vehicle.

Good luck with that, parents suck when it comes to letting you spend money. I wish you were closer to Milwaukee, Wi, USA. I would love to help you search for a car ;-) The cars here go by MPH, though biglaugh.gif

Recon, have you ever even talked to a *** person before.... i'm not talking about a couple of words, i'm talking about a conversation. They have needs, they are human, and just because religion doesn't agree with it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be allowed. They see their partner as their "soulmate" just as a man and a woman does. I think it should be legal.

You probaly want something decently reliable so the probe and 1g DSM are probaly out. The 1g talon turbo can be very fast but they have many little things that can arise which should be expected w/ any 10-15 year old turbo car that is probaly driven hard. If your dad doesn't mine working on cars though, they really aren't bad at all. There hands down the fastest/easiest modded car mentioned so far. Plus turbo AWD during winter is icon_cool.gif

$3000,,,,,Hows that canadian money conversion thing work?, Here you can get the 2g N/T 95-99 style eclipses and talon for as low 2800. Many girls like the looks of those cars,, though the eclipses were never released in canada during those years, just the talon. Plus they have the same motor as another "chick" car, the neon.

I dunno, I always see chicks drive sunfires, cavies, and neons. Like any of those?
Or buy a BIG azz truck. Chicks who drive trucks are always pimps icon_biggrin.gif

So, I have a girly & over-popular car ? icon_cry.gif

Haha... just kidding, no worries icon_lol.gif . Seriously tho, different locations are going to have different selections of vehicles in the price range you are looking to keep. I would just look around town or in the classifieds "for sale" ads in your area to see what vehicle you like that you can afford. Then research that vehicle to see if it's worth getting. That would just be much simpler IMHO.
