Just got my hands on some really really bright cathodes. These just blow the old ones out of the water. The best thing is they are much cheaper so I am going to be selling them on my site for $16.49

They are dual inverter cathode kits... One dual inverter with 2 12" tubes.

elwirecheap.com is selling a dual kit for $18.00 on their site but they charge you more for shipping and I have compared their cathodes to my new ones and my new ones are WAY better...

Snap up some cathodes today and make your car glow like no other.

Here's a link to the cathode page: http://www.oznium.com/acart/agora.cgi?xm=on&product=Cathodes

Damn, that's a great deal Phil. Are they encased in lexan?
If not, do they need to be?
I've been holding off on buying cold cathodes but at your new prices it might be time to get some.

Yep they come in a really good lexan so they are actually more durable than the old ones.

I want some but I need to find somewhere to put em. You think they'd be better under the seats than a LP frame?

Hmm I dunno if I will ever sell orange cathodes... Maybe...

They are whiter than a regular blue neon but much better than the old ones.

I think they would be much better than a license plate frame. You might get them on Saturday.

Just ordered some greens cathodes. So many places to put these...maybe I'll use em as "always on's" under my seats so I can choose between the bass-driven LED's and that. Maybe I'll wire them to my exterior mirror lights so when I unlock my doors, they light up the ground below, who knows.

Green seems to go with the truck. The instruments, radio, etc... are all green inside, hence the green LED's. I want to stay away from Red/White/Blue not to be unpatriotic, but because those are the colors that'll probably get me in trouble :O) If I use the 'thodes outside, I'll change the filter on my strobes from purple to green to match. I'll have the Christmas-X (Red paint/green lights) I'll stop ramblin now.

Phil, Is it possible to get a set of the cold cathodes in 2 different colors or can they only be purchased in the same colors?

Yeah it is possible... How about you just put a note in with the colors you want when ordering.

What color combo did you want?

Now that I think about it, it probably doesn't matter since I'll probably order at least 2 sets so I could just make one set a blue set and the other set a red set. biglaugh.gif
