Ok folks, well i joined not to long ago. and i recieved a few comments on the wood grain in the ride. I dont like it either, so i decided to do something about it. Ive already taken care of my center bezel, and i painted it white.

Here's updated pic.

Now I got another problem. There are wood panels on my door. And they dont come off.

Sooooo...... should i paint them, or should i put a carbon fiber type sticker over the wood grain area. Heres a pic for reference.

So what you think, Look at the wood grain area on the door.

White or Carbon Fiber?????

Thanks
Justin

I figured u guys would say that, so i went ahead and got the stuff. Im in the process right now.

I also got a project involving the door handles and leds. Nothing new for the big glowers but something new for me.

Thanks for the comments, and please keep them coming.

There's gotta be a way to take those door inserts out... Take the door panel off and look from the back. Send a pic of it and maybe I can figure it out.

i believe it is gonna be the plastic rivots that are melted on. If so I could always just slice off the melted part and use a very fine screw and drill bit and make the rivot a screw hole instead.

So what you think WHITE OR CARBON FIBER?

I still have yet to do anything, so holla at me.

EL wire around which trim piece, the center bezel or the door piece? I plan on doing the cracks in the door panel in EL wire, but after i get it painted.

If i EL wire the center bezel then i wouldnt be able to take off the dash/radio/indash. That bezel there covers most of the screws holding the dash together, also my switch panel......

^^ unfortunately they do not carry the white carbon fiber. Only the gray.

A new choice has arissen though.

What about chrome? I could make them a nice and shiny chrome to match the door handles
