Lambo doors usually require you to pull off the front fenders to install them. If you don't know what you're doing, you can jack up your fenders, and jack up your doors. Getting your door to close perfectly after removing it is also very difficult. Even if you try to return it to the way it was stock, and you match the bolt marks on the old hinges with the bolts originally there, the door won't line up the way it did before. It takes a lot of work, and usually more than one person (unless you have some real nifty adjustable door holders you can use to hold the door in place while you bolt stuff together.

Lambo kits usually cost a minimum of $1000, and the ones that are $1000 are usually good for a door stop only =P

There are numberous different designs to how they open, and you need to pay close attention to that. Those that are "universal" have more issue's than anything else. When possible, get one that's specifically for your make/model/year car. If you get a universal one, you have a lot of issue's to deal with. Often having to drill out new holes in the mount, and running into problems with parts of your door not clearing parts of the trailing window edge on the windshield. Since many are designed so that your door opens slightly, then goes straight up, many times there will be some sort of part of the door near the hinged area that will hit the bar along the side of your windshield.

All in all, unless you have prior experience taking doors and fenders and putting them back on, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you don't mind possibly screwing it up, scratching paint, and not getting things to line up perfectly.

For a good lambo kit, expect to pay around $1500-$2000. The price is outrageous, but it's patented so you pay for their R&D time since they aren't a widely sold item and not many people make them.
